The US National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) published their report on a "Proposed Biosecurity Oversight Framework for the Future of Science". Although the article's recommendations may exceed what we here believe to be necessary, it may nevertheless serve as a good base for discussions on biosecurity, work on pathogens with the potential to cause pandemics, dual-use research of concern and others.
